Purpose of the role:

The Housekeeper & Facilities cleaner is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of all hotel rooms and public areas, ensuring a pleasant and comfortable stay for guests. This role involves daily cleaning tasks, addressing guest requests, and maintaining high hygiene standards.

We are looking for motivated people, who would like to come help us regularly at the exclusive Burman hotel.
Key responsibilities: 

Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, service procedures, and standards.

Clean and tidy hotel rooms, bathrooms, and public areas according to established standards.

Perform general cleaning in back-of-house areas as needed.

Change linens, make beds, disinfect surfaces, vacuum, and replenish room supplies and amenities.

Arrange all clothing items in occupied guestrooms neatly according to standards.

Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the Housekeeping Manager.

Follow all safety and sanitation policies to ensure a safe working environment.

Assist in the monthly inventory of equipment, cleaning supplies, minibar stock, linens, etc.

Respond promptly to guest requests for additional services, guest laundry, or items.

Assist in laundry services as needed.

Report missing or damaged, as well as lost and found items.

Ensure cleaning equipment is maintained and used properly.

Key skills and requirements:

Previous experience as a Housekeeper or in a similar role preferred.

Attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks.

Physical stamina and ability to lift and move objects.

Team player with strong communication skills.

Respectful and courteous demeanor.

Commitment to high standards of cleanliness and guest service.

Proficiency in English at a conversational level.

Passionate about providing excellent customer service.

Work environment

We are providing uniform. Must have black shoes, which are not sport shoes or casual shoes.

Breaks and lunch

We are providing lunch or dinner, which depends on shift.
